Utah Beach / Operation Sealion

Type: Allied / Axis defend maps
Players: 1 - 3
Difficulty: Very hard

In these missions your goal is to defend a beach sector. To defend yourself from the enemy attacks you only have the ability to build infantry units along with some basic defense structures. Resource management is a bit different in this mission, you only get new resources by killing enemy squads. Usually you will get a small amount of manpower and munition but there are some "harder to kill" units that will also give some fuel as reward for killing them. You can earn extra rewards by completing some side missions.

This mission is round based, each round is 10 minutes, in which you must prevent the enemy from capturing the vital sector or kill your commander, if you survive a round you will get new abilities as a reward. Each round will be a bit harder and the enemy will use different tactics to achive his goal. This mission is without an end, but at a certain point it will be very hard for you to stay alive.

Looks tight. Is this going to be possible to win with 1 player or will I need competent friends to play this with?

You can play it alone just good, I made it different depending on how many players there are, so there will be a different mode for 1, 2 and 3 players. As in "Urban Terror", the battle will take place in levels (this time each 10 minutes), you can play this forever, but at a certain point you will be overwhelmed by the attackers.

that's operation Seelöwe? if yes, it's a little... chaotic... Operation Seelöwe was invasion of UK planned by Wehrmacht but which has been called off when Luftwaffe failed to storm RAF. So if I'm right, the defenders should be British (American) and assaulting should be Germans. If this has no historical background, I'm sorry. but as long I'm nearly 100 percent sure Seelöwe is Sealion, I have to write this

yeah, I just made the setting a bit different, so "Beach assault" is D-Day and you play as axis defenders, "Operation Sealion" you take the role of brit/allied defenders (purely fictional of course).

I lol when I saw those words :lol: . The secondary objective is to stop enemy from deploying those sandbags, I could see a reason in there.

We are always playing as the Nazis when will we play as the Advancing Allies?

you cant play as advancing allies but you can play as defending allies in "Operation Sealion". So basicly this map can be played with all sides, I just changed the setting for allies.
