Urban Terror

Type: Axis defend mission
Players: 1 - 2
Difficulty: Insane

This is a infantry based defense mission for axis forces. You have to defend yourself as long as possible against the allied attackers. Resource management is a bit different on this one, you only get resources and abilities by killing enemy squads. Attacks are level based, so every 2 minutes a new level starts and attackers are multiplied by 2, so after a few levels there will be an insane amount of units you have to defend yourself from. We`ll see how long you may last :)

Have played this map and couldn't survive through that terror for 10 minutes :D. Pretty hard, I think.
And:

- I found that smoke barrage still required skirmish phase.
- Wires and Sandbags have gone, making the map even more harder.
- If you set high resource, you'll have 1 command point, which can be spent and unlock important abilities like assault, zeal, etc.

Great fun! I just downloaded Joint Ops tonight and this is the first mission I tried.

It starts out easy enough, but really doesn't get frantic. Should have written down my score, but I think it was 3500+. I remember it said on the screen I made it to level 12. Killed something like 1100 of the enemy.

Is that good, bad?

One of the things that hurt me was that I placed one of the officers in my HQ. That got bombarded and I lost the officer and the HQ as a reinforcement point. I was so busily defending myself and running my wounded over to my allies HQ that I didn't realize right away that i could turn another building into a base.

Something else... I felt like my ally was not extremely helpful. I suppose he must have soaked up some damage, but in the stats at the end I think he killed maybe 100 enemies.

Some things I did that worked, was run my pioneers around laying mines... and when my MGs pinned troopers I used the pioneers to fry them. Worked rather well. Also, when you get the missile barrage and firestorm abilities that really saves your bacon.

Really a great mission! Looking forward to trying the others.

not bad for the first time :)

true, didn`t make a complete skirmish ai on this one, since his score doesnt count anyways.

And it is possible to play this card with friends? If yes that I not to the magician incorporate to the friend writes that the player uses another of fashions though fashions are absolutely identical! What to do?

I played this map with my mate but we noticed that there must be a bug. I ve got lots of mun and can made firestorms every time after cooldown but my mate cant do so. When we changed positions it was the other way round. After a while we recognized that the player on pos 3 gets mun and mp after every "20 kills bonus" and the player on pos 4 only gets manpower.
So is it possible, that there's a mistake in the code? Probably you forget the second player?
Would be nice if you fix that, because apart from this its a great map!

ah sry for double post.... i forget to ask about the v1: is it normal that its metioned in the online statistics (" Bonus V1 rocket received") although it's not true? I only get Rockets and Firestorm but no V1... so maybe it's a second bug ;)

hell, i beat that one and i almost went to lv.13 and yes the ai wasn't helpful
