Defend the outpost / Defend the Town

Type: Defend mission
Players: 1
Difficulty: Very easy - Very hard

These are 2 different missions that use a similar script, you can play these maps with any army you like, your goal is to survive the enemy attacks for 45 minutes and defend a special spot the enemy will try to take. There will be a lot of random missions depending on the side you chose, so any game you play should be a bit different. Actually difficulty settings work on this map, so you can choose how hard you want the attacks to be.

Since this didn't have a (WIP) in the title is this expected in the newest update?

2 bofars, 1 commano squad with lieutenant, 1 hull down church hill, 1 stuart light tank, 1 captain in a slit trench, 1 17 pounder. is no match for 2 pioneers.................... I had all that right next to the point and they still capped it even with the commandos right on top of them.

Something happened to my beloved British. The bofars just will not fire same with the MG nests untill the enemy is right ontop of them. I don't think it's the mod. I wish I had saved the replay so you could see it but I got so mad i just Alt F4'ed the game. Is it me or are other people having this problem.

Also with any Face able weapon MG or AT I just cannot set their field of fire.

It's a bug with the game, not the mod.
Something Relic did that delays the time units fire when they get in buildings, and it had an unintentional problem with the British emplacements waiting several seconds before they start firing at their enemy!
It sucks, I know, so for now i recommend not playing with the British on defense missions (or atleast missions were you rely on the British emplacements).

yep, that`s true, currently a bug in the game. Hopefully this will be fixed with the next patch.

I get the emplacement thing but the commandos should of ripped the pioneers up. They are my "cheese graters" in the normal game.

They were just out it the open When I saw the pioneers start capping the point I moved the Commandos near them. they began to shoot I quickly scrolled down to deal with a PE armored car. Just as I click on my AT team to hit the car bam "Mission failed"

I did have the Commandos grab 2 Mp44's so their power vrs humans read 7+2.

Just checked the script again, capping pios don`t have a health bonus, just some suppression bonus, must have been bad luck then :(.
